Looking for a space in the city to host your next event, conference, or workshop?

The UNTY Center is available for use! Opened in 2019, this state-of-the-art facility is centrally located in Midtown Manhattan and easily accessible from all subway lines, Grand Central Station, Penn Station/Moynihan Train Hall and Port Authority. With more than 15,000 square feet of space, rent the entire facility, or choose from a variety of conference rooms, lounge areas, or classroom spaces that best suits your needs.

FAQs

Pricing for events held at UTNY vary based on length of rental and the space(s) occupied. 
•    Entities governed by UT Systems are eligible to receive a discount in price. Renters must be actively employed by UT Systems to receive discounted pricing and affiliates must have a sponsoring CSU with an UT account number and an UT event coordinator to receive internal pricing. Please note, this distinction does NOT include alumni.


The UTNY Center is available to rent by all.


Our team at UTNY is happy to consult with you about your event and use of the space, but you will be responsible for organizing and putting on your event. UTNY is not able to provide event planners, catering, or day-of event support, including cleanup or IT support. 


The UTNY Center occupies 15,000 square feet of space made up of a reception area, classrooms, a library, study areas, two conference rooms, a kitchen and a lounge. We’ve hosted everything from conferences to small-scale workshops, team building events, and formal receptions. Whatever you’re hoping to use our space for, UTNY can likely accommodate. 


  1. Contact: Email UTNY-offmgr@austin.utexas.edu to ascertain whether UTNY is appropriate for your event needs.
  2. Submission: Once you are ready to start the process, submit an application using the form linked on this page with your finalized event details. Your event is not yet confirmed at this point.
  3. Approval: UTNY will review your application for approval and follow up for further information, if needed.
  4. Contract & Payment: Once Approved, renter will receive an agreement contract for signature. Payment is required and non-refundable at this point.
  5. Confirmation: Once signed and fees paid, you will receive an email that your event is officially confirmed.
  6. Meeting: UTNY will reach out for a pre-event meeting to discuss event details, expectations, insurance, etc.
  7. Insurance: Insurance is purchased and provided to UTNY to keep on file.
  8. Event: Renter plans, executes, and cleans up after event.
  9. Conclusion: UTNY processes any fees due to misuse or noncompliance, as applicable.
